Description

You are invited to a transformative journey of profound self-care, shift in consciousness, and engagement.
This is a transformative journey that intertwines inner care and a profound shift in consciousness by fully immersing into a Living Systems Lab in an Alpine village in revival.
You will experience a 5-day retreat to support pathways of holistic resilience in times of transition. You will explore a framework for inner growth (IDGs), supported by compassion-based practices (MSC) to sustainably cultivate the soil for change, supported and deepened through contemplative nature connection practices (AITW). Our retreat location is a ‘Living Systems Lab’ for research, education, and entrepreneurship in sustainability transitions and regenerative design, the “Monviso Institute” in Piemonte.
Tools: deep listening skills, dyadic meditation, artistic expression, gentle body movement, science-based nature connection practices.

Learnings

Deepening self-compassion – the participants practiced becoming their best friend when things got tough. From a safe space of both gentle and fierce self-compassion, befriending ourselves and our experiences with awareness of our common humanity.
We felt that the safe space enabled a deeper listening into our and others’ world views and how we relate to our precious planet Earth. The immersion in nature daily brought peace and calm as we savored the great outdoors of Ostana and Valle del Po to nourish our bodies and hearts in a joyful, active way.
We were inspired through a variety of practices for inner growth, supported by the Inner Development Goals (IDG) framework and hands-on solutions in a Livings Systems’ Lab for regenerative design, guided by the local team of Monviso Institute, other local projects, and the local community
